Pieces from around the globe are on display here which illustrate the history of the human race starting from prehistoric times. Its "jewels" include: the Rosetta stone, sculptures of the Parthenon and mummies dating back to Egyptian times. The collection of hieroglyphics and Greek and Roman works are worth seeing.
