The Huerta de San Vicente was the summer residence of the greatest Spanish poet. Donated in 1924 by the artist and his family, the house was converted into a museum that shows intact the personal objects of the poet, such as his writing desk, the pianoforte and some sketches. Surrounded by a park dedicated to Lorca and facing the Sierra Nevada, the Huerta de San Vicente saw the composition of one of Lorca’s masterpieces, the famous Bodas de Sangre.
