Barcelona is one of Europe's coolest cities, it is in constant motion and knows how to offer visitors countless occasions for having fun, enjoying themselves and being thrilled - no matter whether during the day or at night. The old part of the city is very lively at night; explore the narrow streets of Barrio Gótico or stroll along Las Ramblas to the Old Harbor. Plaça Real contains many bars and clubs which are open all night. The area is very popular with tourists and consequently thieves looking for an opportunity, so a bit of caution is warranted.

The ultra new Port Olimpic is another good spot for those who like the good life, with its post-modern style restaurants, bars and discos which hop until dawn.

Maremagnum

In the basin of the old harbor, on Moll d'Espanya, is a large complex dedicated to free time. 22 thousand square meters with a movie theater, restaurants, shopping center and Barcelona's famous aquarium.

Barcelona Aquarium

One of the biggest aquariums in Europe with 21 large tanks which each show different marine habitats. The Oceanarium is astonishing, you walk in a glass tunnel which crosses a Mediterranean ecosystem surrounded by every type of fish including sharks!

Tibidabo Funfair Park

A large amusement park located at the top of Tibidabo, which has a spectacular view of the city. Torre de Collserola, a 228 meter tall telecommunications tower, is located in the vicinity. You can pay to take the elevator to the top.

Public transportation: with Subway L7 to Av. Tibidabo + Tramvia Blau + Tibidabo funicular. Or with the Tibibus from Plaça de Catalunya.

Poble Espanyol

This village created especially for the 1929 Expo on Montjuïc hill, contains reproductions of all the traditional buildings from various areas of Spain. Currently Poble Espanyol is more of a tourist attraction with numerous shops of Spanish artisans, entertainment, music and scores of cafes and restaurants.
