For those coming from the continent by car, the easiest way is to cross the Channel from Calais (France) to Dover. You can decide whether to use the new Eurotunnel or cross by ferry (the most inexpensive option).

Once you arrive in England, motorway M20 goes directly to the capital. London is completely surrounded by M25.
