Flying to London is easy and affordable for everyone. The capital of the United Kingdom possesses five international airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City, located at a short distance from the city.

Heathrow (LHR) is the largest European airport and handles intercontinental routes. There are several possibilities to get from the airport to London: the fast Heathorw Express, a train which connects the airport to Paddington train station in 15 minutes, which leaves Terminal 4 every 15 minutes; the less expensive Piccadilly Tube connects Heathrow to the center in around 50 minutes. by bus with National Express: Airbus A2 connects Heathrow to Victoria Coach Station, while A goes to King's Cross station. They make various stops along the way and the journey takes 40 min. unless the traffic is bad. Bus N9 runs during the night from midnight to 5:30 a.m. with trips to Trafalgar Square every half hour.

Gatwick (LGW) is London's second airport. It is located south of London and possesses two terminals which are connected to each other. It is connected to London by Gatwick Express which goes to Victoria Station in 30 minutes. The service operates from 4:35 a.m. to 1:35 a.m. The station is located in the South terminal. It is also possible to take the Thameslink trains (running approximately every 30 minutes) which go to the stations of London Bridge, Blackfriars and King’s Cross.

Stansted: London's Stansted airport (STN) is the third in terms of traffic, it is primarily used by low cost airlines which fly to all European and Mediterranean destinations. The quickest way to reach London is with the Stansted Express, which goes to Liverpool Street station in 45 minutes, with a stop at Tottenham Hale. The service operates from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. National Express provides 24 hour bus service to Victoria Coach Station with various stops along the way: Golders Green, Finchley Road, St John's Wood, Marylebone, Baker Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner. The service costs less than the train but takes one hour and 40 minutes.

It is connected to London by Thameslink trains, which go to the stations of King’s Cross, Farringdon, London Bridge and Blackfriars.
