The oldest Gothic church in England rebuilt various times and definitively in the 12th century.
The interior contains interesting sights related to the world of theater, which was active on the south bank of the Thames. Shakespeare's brother Edmond is buried in the choir. The chapel of John Harvard, founder of the famous American university and baptized here, is also interesting to see.
