After the destruction of Whitehall Palace Banqueting House became the royal chapel and is currently home to ceremonies and banquets. The large hall on the second floor contains nine frescoes by Rubens. Hours: Mar.-Oct. 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Nov.-Feb 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Closed on Bank Holiday, 24 Dec.-1 Jan.
