Eze, France
Even the name of this miniscule medieval village is small, but its fascination is great. A perched village sitting on a hill surrounded by luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation, Èze offers memorable views from its rocky peak.
There is a similarly enchanting walk named after Nietzsche, who was inspired by it to write Thus Spake Zarathustra. This path leads to the beach of the modern seaside resort of Èze-sur-Mer.
It's also worth visiting the Jardin Exotique, and the Fragonard perfume factory and boutique.
What's more, a certain Walt Disney also thought this was a place out of a fairy tale and spent his vacations here!
