Getting to Paris from Beauvais airport (BVA)

Beauvais airport is located 70 km north of Paris on the freeway A16. Buses connect Beauvais with Paris-Porte Maillot. They run every day and leave approximately 20 minutes after each flight arrives.

By train

Paris can be reached by train from any destination in France and from all the main European cities. France's train system (SNFC) is one of the most advanced in Europe and there are many possibilities to choose from, including the famous high speed TGV.

Paris has 7 train stations scattered around the city, all connected with the city's public transportation system. Generally trains from London cross the Eurotunnel and arrive at Gare du Nord from the north. From Italy and Spain they arrive at Gare de Lyon. The other stations are Gare de l’Est, Gare de Bercy, Gare d’Austerlitz, Gare Montparnasse and Gare Saint-Lazare.

By bus

Arriving in Paris by bus is not difficult, many companies have connections from France and abroad. The international bus station for Paris-Galliéni buses is in Bagnolet, on the outskirts, it is connected with the center by Metro (line 3, Galliéni). It is the biggest bus station in Europe with services similar to an airport.

By car

France has an excellent freeway system, most of the freeways require a toll. Freeways and highways leave from Paris for all parts of the country. Entering Paris all the major roads lead to a bypass with 30 exits into the city. When you get to the bypass (Bd. Peripherique), you need to choose between two alternatives depending on where you want to go: the inner bypass (interieur) with traffic moving clockwise and the outer bypass (exterieur) with counterclockwise traffic.
