Play: The Game Festival
On March 26 and 27, 2011, "Play", the great national gaming fair, will return to Italy, at the Modena fairgrounds. An exceptional game festival, Play came about from the success of the "National Game Convention", organized by Club TreEmme. For lovers of board games, role-playing games, collectible card games, three-dimensional games, live games and video games, it is an event that is not to be missed, where you can try the latest products on the market or take a trip down memory lane with the more traditional games.
In addition to the possibility of trying games at the numerous stands present, the editors, producers, distributors and resellers will offer the possibility of buying them, with special prices.
One of the areas you can visit is dedicated to model-making, a hobby embraced by people of all ages, considered a true art form. You will be able to see the best works in circulation, as well as try to put together a model yourself.
In the playroom you will find hundreds of games to borrow for free, with experts available to explain the rules. A large area is dedicated to free play and to trying newly purchased games.
There will be large spaces for smaller children, including areas with inflatable toys and toy cars.
Besides this, the program includes some organized events such as conferences, meetings with authors and presentations of new games. For the more competitive folks, there is also the possibility of participating in tournaments where you can challenge the best players in Italy.
