The Hotel Britannia is a lovely property near the train station in Rome. The rooms are comfortable, clean, nicely appointed, and very quiet. Mario at the front desk helped us out with restaurant recommendations and getting a car to the airport. The breakfast is more Western-style, with generous, delicious offerings of both hot and cold dishes, and the breakfast room has a fresco that makes you feel you are eating at sunrise in a Roman garden. Very nice!
What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The breakfast was the best we had in Italy: really good food and lots of selection, including many hot items.
What did not meet your expectations?
The location is convenient for the train station, but more of a walk than we counted on to many attractions.
