Turin Entertainment And Nightlife, Italy
The Quadrilatero Romano, between Piazza Emanuele Filiberto and Via Sant'Agostino, is Turin's hot spot for young adults and those who want to spend an evening over cocktails or a delicious dinner in the most traditional Torinese style.
In recent years Turin's nightlife scene is moving to Piazza Vittorio Veneto. The Café Ventuno, at number 21, and La Drogheria (www.la-drogheria.it), at number 18, with its beautiful ivy adding a flash of color to the grey porticoes, have become the popular places to hang out before going to Murazzi. There are many clubs on the banks of the Po and, in summer, some of them become city beaches with their piers.
Still near Piazza Vittorio, the Caffé del Progresso (www.caffedelprogresso.it), in Corso San Maurizio 69/B, covers three floors in a sumptuous Antonelliano palazzo and provides an astonishingly creative and excellent music selection. Hiroshima Mon Amour, located in Via Bossoli 83 (www.hiroshimamonamour.org), is the place for rockers: all the world's leading underground artists have rocked its stage.
