I recently stayed with a group at Hotel Baglio della Luna in Agrigento, Sicily. Don't be fooled by the descriptions of the rooms on their website!!! The rooms are way OVER PRICED and much smaller than the descriptions on their website. I am not new to travel in Europe - in fact, I have been to Sicily many times in the (recent) past with tour groups. We stayed in the resort town of Taormina - probably the most expensive city on the island - for 2 nights at a villa (where ALL rooms had an incredible view of the sea and Mt. Etna) all for LESS THAN ONE NIGHT at Baglio della Luna. The "splendid view" of the Temples was at least 5 km away through a tiny window. The drain in my bathroom sink did not work. Part of the panel covering the AC unit in my room was hanging down. Need I say more? How can they get away with charging EURO 280,- up to EURO 320,- for these rooms? They should change their name to HOTEL BAGLIO DELLA LUNATICS!
