Hotel Globus, Florence city center Italy

From the minute I stepped in the door, the staff greeted me, helped me with my luggage, and gave me an overall warm welcome to Florence. The entrance is inviting, warm, and welcoming to an American visiting Italy for the first time. They explained at check in, my original room was still booked, so they upgraded me for one night at no extra cost. Both rooms were very clean and cozy. As a single woman, I was not afraid to stay here alone. The hotel is in a good location, near several markets, the Duomo, and many attractions. It is reasonable in price and excellent in every other way. I would recommend this hotel to everyone going to Florence!
