I went to Florence with my boyfriend for 2 nights, and I thought this hotel would be a good idea. We had booked one junior double for the first night, and a classic double for the second.

However, in the second night, after having made us leave the room we already had, they simply told us that THERE WERE NO CLASSIC ROOMS AVAILABLE!!!

They made us be in another kind of "tourist house" room, INCREDIBLY NOISY, WITH SEPARATED BEDS!!!! And they still charged us for THE MOST EXPENSIVE ROOM!!!!

They literally STOLE my money!!! Staff was incredibly rude, they didn't speak english. Breakfast was terrible - bread was hard as a rock.

The hotel had no amenities at all. Definitly the worst choice.

Can't find a thing.

We would like to explain what happened with these guests.

They made their reservation at the end of April, but only at the end of May they realized that they have made a mistake.

In fact, they booked for 18th of May instead of 18th of June. Unfortunately, for the period of their real stay (check in 18/06/2009 check out 20/06/2009), we had no availability for the same room for both nights, because in those days, in Florence there was a fashion fair and it was quite impossible to find a room available.

However, we found a solution and everything seemed to be ok, but at  check out, they said that they didn't want to change room (we have explained that before their arrival), that we gave them a room with twin beds instead of double (they didn't ask for a double) and that they didn't want to pay that price for the room we gave them.

We want to make the point that for that kind of room breakfast is not included, but we grant to them to take advantage of it, without overpricing.

As stated in other reviews, all the other guests has been pleasantly satisfied from our kindness, from our staff speaking more than one language (English included) and from our breakfast that they judged as one of the best breakfast they ever had.

 We regret that these guests felt the need to write something that is not true.
