Palazzo Guadagni, Florence city center Italy

We chose Firenze as the start point to our honeymoon, and it could not be more perfect! Besides the city being absolutely beautiful and the weather very nice, the hotel was above all expectations. We had read the available reviews and seen the pictures, but reality was much better. Location was great: not far from the railstation, a few steps from Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio - a bit aside tourist routes, but just 10 minutes walk to the city's main attractions. The piazza in front the hotel is lovely, it was a plasure to watch people passing by. The terrace on the upper floor is perfect for resting a bit, viewing the landscape and planning the next day. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Bathroom also very large and well equiped. Common areas are very clean, well furnished and attractive. Breakfast was generous, with fresh fruits and bread, and very gentle waiters. In a nutshell, we couldn't be more satisfied about our stay, so we highly recommend Palazzo Guadagni!
