Eden Rock Resort, Florence city center Italy

The room had the most gorgeous view of the city of Florence and the countryside. With a balcony overlooking all of this. The room was cozy with a wall of windows, functional kitchen, working wireless internet, free garage parking. The hotel itself was quite unique, built on the side of the mountain with multi-levels. Breakfast was served in a indoor/outdoor cabana. and was the breakfast we had in Italy. Not only the usual buffet with cheese, meats, bread, cakes, yogurt and fruits, but with eggs cooked to order. And great coffee. We were there in the fall, and too cool to use the pool, but it is as inviting looking in person as in the web photos. The price for all of this was so much better than what we could have found in Florence for the same or more money. Of course, being outside of the city, one has to get to the city to sight see and find a parking place for the day on the street or in a garage (staying close to the city center, one still has to find a parking place).
