Hotel Al Piave, Venice city center Italy

The hotel is in a quieter area of the main town located between the Rialto Bridge & St Mark's Square so the main tourist sites are within walking distance & only ten minutes from the vaporetto stop. Room was very well appointed in a modern lavish style which enhanced it's charm, good mix of new & old ideas, very welcoming. Breakfast was in a good sized room for the numbers staying, (including an option to eat outside) with a variety of food, including a hot buffet selection. Mention must be made of the bellhop who carried both of our large cases to our room on the 6th floor, this would have been a difficult task for us but a new lift is being installed for next year, so problem solved! Local information provided by the owners was very useful & accurate. Information on the website is also comprehensive. An excellent holiday stay for the two nights we spent there.
