Hotel Al Piave, Venice city center Italy

We enjoyed our stay at the Albergo Al Piave. The hotel is in an excellent location. We had a late flight int Marco Polo Airport, and the staff gave us excellent advice on how best to arrive at the hotel at that hour to minimize travel time.

The water taxi took us directly to the Campo Santa Maria Formosa, and it was a short walk to the hotel from there. We were booked for a double superior room, but were shown to an apartment down the lane.

Although we did not utilize all the facilities in the apartment, the bedroom was comfortable, and the bath was quaint, but modern.

Hotels seemed expensive in general in Venice, and I thought that the Al Piave was a good value with helpful staff and nice morning breakfast.

What did you enjoy most about your stay?
The hotel was in an excellent location and the staff was very helpful.

The facilities met my expectations.
