Ca' Dei Conti, Venice city center Italy

I am one of the, if not "fusiest travellers" there is, therefore my review should not be taken lightly.
I stayed at the Ca Dei Conti with my girlfriend for the last weekend in January after reccomendation from a good friend.
In summary the hotel is 1st class and I would definitely recommend staying there every time.
We were there for two nights, the first night we were in the loft which was lovely and quaint and more than adequate.
The next night we were upgraded to a venetian suite which was beautiful.
The hotel was clean at all times, the breakfasts were fantastic and the staff went well beyond their call of duty and spoke excellent English.
We were made to feel very welcome and it definitely contributed to our enjoyment of venice.
The hotel is within walking distance of St Mark's square and all the excellent restaurants and shopping.
It is impossible to knock the Ca Dei Conti for value and I have happily recommeded it to friends and I will continue to stay there in the future.
After liasing with friends who had previous trips to venice and stayed in what they described in average accomodation for what they were paying we were pleasantly surprised!
