To remind of its Medieval period, Lazise preserves the magnificent castle, towers and the walls built by the rulers of Verona, the Della Scala family, which encircle the old town centre. The small port has the fine building of the Customs House, built by Venice to control trade exchanges on the lake, today the site of many important cultural events.

In addition to the historical and archaeological itineraries offered, Lazise is also a comfortable starting point for excursions in the surrounding hills. Nor to miss are the many cultural events organized in the area, among which we mention "Lazise notte classica" [Lazise Classical Night], an important classical music and lyric performance event.
