is the fastest and most convenient way of visiting London.. The 12 standard lines plus the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) will quickly take you to every corner of the city for exploring them. The city is broken down into six concentric areas with different prices according to the areas.

The underground trains start service at 5:00 a.m. (7:30 a.m. on Sundays) and stop between 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. depending on the line. Each train is marked with eastbound, westbound, northbound or southbound, based on the direction it is going (see the underground map).

Tickets: are sold in stations. The most inexpensive solution is to buy a Travelcard, which can be used for a day on the tube, trains, DLR, trams and buses after 9:30 a.m.. Travelcards can be purchased for the individual areas. It is also available in Weekend Travelcard, Family Travelcard and Week Travelcard (photo required) versions.
