Located in the hills above the city of Fano, overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Villa Giulia is a charming place to spend holiday time. It is peaceful and quiet and relaxing. The grounds are great for an afternoon's stroll.

There is even a swimming pool, though it never seemed hot enough to take a dip.

Our room, #3 in the Annex, was spacious and clean, with plenty of closet room and a good bathroom. The iron post bed was comfortable, giving a good night's sleep.

The playfully frescoed walls were amusing. The view of the rolling hills and the harbor at Fano was breathtaking. This villa has been in the family of its owner, Anna, contessa Passi, since 1892.

Anna is a beautiful person, warm and down to earth. She and her staff have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Pat tends to the morning breakfast perfectly.

Anna's daughter Mila is young and pretty and full of life and very helpful. Everyone speaks English quite well.

This beautiful B&B is a great value for the money. I wish we could have spent more time there. I just loved Villa Giulia.
