There are practically endless routes and paths you can take in the summer, ideal for Nordic walking. There are many opportunities for those looking to climb the vie ferrate or experience the thrill on the seat of a mountain bike.

Selva has hosted the World Ski Championships many times and all the world's best downhill and Super G athletes have skied the difficult Saslong . Each year Selva offers more than 170 km of snow-covered slopes from December to April plus the slopes in the Alpe di Siusi, accessible by the cableway in Ortisei.

Leaving Selva and walking towards Vallunga, you'll spot the ruins of the Wolkenstein Castle you can reach by climbing a speed road. The charming Church of San Silvestro, decorated with magnificent seventeenth century frescoes, is at the bottom of the valley.

In addition to the church, take time to enjoy the Pra da Rì pasture. If you're used to walking and in shape, this mountain pasture - home to the Puez hut - will be your natural choice. 2,500 meters high, you can really touch the sky with your finger!
