The Emerald Coast: 5 heavenly beaches

Itineraries

The beaches of the Emerald Coast have nothing to envy to Caribbean destinations: very fine white sand, the Mediterranean maquis surrounding them and wonderful turquoise hues of the sea.
There are numerous beaches along the 50 km of coastline, we have chosen to suggest 5 of the most beautiful ones.

Spiaggia del Principe

It is named in honor of Arab Prince Karim Aga Khan, who chose it as his favorite beach. Also known as Portu Li Coggi Beach, it is listed among the 20 most beautiful beaches in the world thanks to the fineness of its sand and by the promontory of pink rocks that distinguish it.

Cala di Volpe

The Mediterranean maquis stretches for miles in the bay of Cala di Volpe, in the territory of Arzachena. It is a natural cove that is particularly popular with international celebrities for the privacy it offers.

Capriccioli

About 8 km from Cala di Volpe, easily reached from Porto Cervo and Olbia. It is a modestly sized beach embraced by Mediterranean scrub. Its waters are crystal clear, calm and shallow, making it an excellent choice for families.

Piccolo and Grande Pevero Beach

In the territory of Arzachena, 3 km from Porto Cervo, are the beaches of Piccolo and Grande Pevero, separated by a small promontory. They are surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, the sea is colored in many shades of blue, and there is the possibility of renting pedal boats, jet skis or canoes.

Cala Granu

This is one of the most beautiful bays in the area, a short distance from Porto Cervo, in the territory of Arzachena. Its sand is white and fine, and its sea has turquoise and emerald green hues. It is ideal for both romantics and families with children, as it is sheltered from the wind and has a shallow seabed.
